IMAGIMAX, BANGKOK & ELITE ANIMATION, KUALA LUMPUR SIGN $3M DEAL

Bangkok based animation studio Imagimax has recently signed a joint-production deal of USD 3 million with MSC Malaysia Status Company's Elite Animation.

"The joint-production will benefit both countries taking efforts to prove to the world that the Asians can really produce high quality animation too", said Honorable Senator Datin Paduka Datuk Nor Hayati binti Tan Sri Dato' Seri Hj Onn the Executive Chairman, Elite Animation.

"We've had serious discussions to identify quality content that suits global screening." Mohamed Tiar Sharif, MD-CEO of Elite Animation who believes that the collaborations among both entities will bring the movie to greater heights with the years of experience that Imagimax has in CGI technique."MDeC is strongly behind us with a USD$1.5 Million (RM5 Million) funding", said Tiar. According to co-founder and Managing Director, Saksiri Koshpasharin, Imagimax Studios, his forecast for the response from animation lovers worldwide will be high ratings throughout.

Imagimax was strictly conceptualized as a computer aided design studio mainly for still graphics and architectural design. The work force at Imagimax has grown tremendously to become one of the most reputable CG Animation Studios to stand head to head with other Giants.
